Project Terms
These terms apply when you commission CourseVista to produce course films. By paying a deposit or confirming a project you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a club, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
1. What we do
CourseVista produces cinematic tee-to-green hole films from photography and course material the club already holds. We do not attend the course, operate drones or film on site.
2. Packages and pricing
Packages are priced by the total number of holes purchased. Prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST.
| Package | 9 holes | 18 holes | 27 holes | 36 holes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $1,100 | $1,690 | $2,290 | $2,790 |
| Complete | $1,590 | $1,990 | $2,690 | $3,290 |
| Hosted | $2,090 | $2,590 | $3,490 | $4,190 |
- Essentials — an individual tee-to-green hole film for each hole purchased.
- Complete — Essentials plus a homepage cinematic course film.
- Hosted — Complete plus a hosted course guide, including initial setup and the first year of hosting.
Where source material requires work beyond the package, we will tell you the revised price before proceeding. We will never increase a price without your agreement.
Facilities of more than 36 holes, multiple courses and unusual source material are scoped individually before any payment is taken.
These prices apply to projects ordered from 13 September 2026. Projects confirmed before then keep the price and terms agreed at the time.
3. Payment
- A 50% deposit is payable to reserve production capacity, or you may pay in full.
- The remaining balance is invoiced before final delivery. Files are released once it is paid.
- Balance invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store card details.
If a balance remains unpaid after the due date we may suspend delivery and any hosting until it is settled.
4. Source material — your responsibilities
This is the most important clause for you to read. You confirm that you own the photography and course material you send us, or that you have permission to have it used this way. Club websites frequently carry images shot by third-party photographers under limited licences.
We rely entirely on your confirmation. We are not able to verify who owns an image, and we do not do so.
You agree to indemnify CourseVista against any claim arising from material you supply that infringes someone else's rights.
You are also responsible for supplying material of sufficient quality. If, after assessment, the available material cannot produce an acceptable result, we will say so before taking payment.
5. One free hole
Where your photography is suitable, we will turn one hole of your course into a flyover free of charge so you can see the result before you commit. The free offer covers exactly one hole, requires no payment and does not enrol you in a package. Additional holes require a package purchase. We may also review your existing photography before production. The free hole and any review create no obligation on either side.
6. Production, revisions and delivery
Production begins once payment is received and source material is confirmed. Indicative delivery is around two weeks from that point, depending on scope and queue. Timeframes are estimates, not guarantees.
Each package includes one revision round covering adjustments to the films produced. Additional revision rounds, extra films and changes of scope are quoted separately.
Films are delivered as 1080p MP4 files in 16:9, with a vertical crop for social use, named by hole.
7. Rights in the finished films
On full payment, you receive the delivered films outright for your own commercial use, with no licence fee, expiry or attribution requirement. This includes your website, social channels, listings and club marketing.
You may not resell the films, or licence them to third parties, as a standalone product.
CourseVista retains ownership of its own methods, tools, templates and underlying technology. Nothing in these terms transfers those.
You retain all rights in the source material you supply. We use it only to produce your project.
8. Showing your project as a reference
We may wish to show your films as an example of our work. We will ask you first. If you agree and later change your mind, tell us and we will remove it from our own channels within a reasonable period. Material already distributed elsewhere may not be recallable.
9. Hosted course guides
Where a hosted guide is included, the price covers initial setup and the first year of hosting. Renewal after the first year may attract a fee, which we will tell you before it applies. If hosting lapses, the hosted pages come down — your delivered film files remain yours regardless.
10. Cancellation and refunds
- Before production starts: cancel for a full refund of anything paid.
- After production starts: the deposit covers work already carried out and is generally not refundable. Where little work has been done we will refund a fair portion.
- If we cannot deliver to the agreed standard, we will refund what you have paid.
Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees.
Where our liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the services, or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
12. Liability
Subject to clause 11, our total liability in connection with a project is limited to the amount you have paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost bookings or loss of goodwill.
13. Confidentiality
We treat unreleased course plans, imagery and commercial information you share as confidential, and will not disclose it except as needed to deliver your project or as required by law.
14. Offer codes
Discount codes are single-use, valid for 14 days from issue, apply to a first project only, and cannot be combined with another offer or exchanged for cash.
15. General
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and both parties submit to the courts of that state. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you commission your project.
